Cables are compatible with all of our tracks, piers and hangers. Cables are discreet and any extra length is easily hidden behind a wall object. A wide range of fittings makes our cables extremely versatile. Choose from stainless steel aircraft-quality cables or Nylon Cords. Our cables are 1.8mm thick (~5/64") and are fabricated from 7x7 strand woven stainless steel for strength and flexibility. Single-strand clear Nylon Cords are 2mm thick and are even more discreet, but are recommended only for the lightest applications and not to be used with cable tensioners. Nylon Cords are also available in several colors. Cable Tensioners should be chosen to match the lower track, in the same way cables are chosen to match the upper track. Cable Tensioners function as turnbuckles, resulting in a tensioned cable that supports objects just off a wall face. They can even support objects where there is no wall, as in wall dividers.
